The art of battling giants reveals David is no longer the underdog. Michelangelo's David has come to embody the giant for which it once stood against. However, microfractures found in his ankles foreshadow his fall, the statue may collapse under its own weight. The fall of this old master allows space for something else to rise in its place. In another light "David's Demise" represents my love for all that I see, while the crack through the pupil symbolizes the heart shattering feeling when beholding a masterpiece.

Jason was inspired by his uncle, Joe Brady, to become an artist. He began training in classical Russian academic drawing and painting with Vyacheslav Shevchenko in 2008. In 2012 Anthony Waichulis accepted him as an apprentice of Ani Art Academy. Jason's charcoal drawings are muddled glimpses into his convoluted reality.
